About
The Slow Cup began with a small observation: most of us are not short of information about how to live well. We are short of space in which to actually live.
So this is not a programme, a method or a plan for optimising yourself. It is a publication — a place to read something considered, sit with a question for a while, and leave a little less hurried than you arrived.
That slowness is not laziness; it is attention. That rest is maintenance, not a reward. That small rituals outlast grand intentions. And that a good essay, read properly with something warm in your hands, can do more for a busy mind than most advice.

Somewhere between a printed journal and a quiet café.
The principle
Before we add anything here, we ask one question: does this make the experience calmer, more thoughtful or more useful? If not, we leave it out.
Who it's for
People with full lives and full minds. People who like books, tea, good writing and ordinary Tuesdays. You do not have to think of yourself as a wellness person. You only have to want a little more room.
Hi, I'm Stephie.
I love tea, writing and slow mornings. I'm currently studying psychology, and after years of guiding leaders and teams through change, I've come to care deeply about the moments in between.
I've lived through many transitions myself: changing careers, crossing borders, living in different countries, and I have navigated my fair share of loss.
One thing I've learned is that change is rarely a straight line from A to B. There are so many steps in between. Moments when we feel lost or uncertain, when life becomes overwhelming, or when we simply need a little space to breathe and find our footing again.
I started The Slow Cup because I believe everyone deserves a moment to pause.
Here, I share reflections, stories and simple practices you can explore at your own pace. Something to sit with over a cup of tea, return to when you need it, or carry with you into everyday life.
I'm glad you're here.
